I needed a subject to photograph for my first attempt at stitching, I decided on a old railroad bridge/trestle about 30 minutes from home. After shooting several photos on the tripod, I decide to get a couple n the tracks since I've never been up on top. I was on the trestle getting a photo and hear the train whistle. I go to get down since my knee is hurt and I'm not moving very well. I get no more than 25 feet off of the tracks as it is coming around the turn. I am changing my lens and it sounds like it is moving slow ... about the time I get the lens on and look up it is FLYING by me. No time to change shutter speed, I just shoot what I am set at. A bit blurred but that's all I could do.
The stitching went quite well for a first attempt. The bridge pano is 4 photos stitched with the raw size being 13,048px X 3956px.
